BEST CRYPTO CASINOS
IN CHILE 2026
Crypto casinos whose own terms do not name Chile, ranked by global deposit volume (Tanzanite, 30 days to 26 Oct 2026). Online gambling is currently illegal in Chile — the Supreme Court ruled in September 2025 that it is unlawful unless expressly authorised, while a regulation bill (No. 14838-03) is being fast-tracked through Congress.
Online gambling is currently illegal in Chile. In September 2025 the Supreme Court ruled that all online gambling is unlawful unless expressly authorised by law, and the courts have ordered ISPs to block unlicensed betting sites. Crypto itself is a recognised digital financial asset under Fintech Law No. 21,521, but it is not legal tender. A regulation bill (No. 14838-03) granted the highest legislative urgency in May 2026 proposes a 20% tax on gross gaming income and a new dedicated superintendency — but it has not yet passed.
Deposit figures are Tanzanite’s global totals for each casino (Tanzanite has no country split), 30 days to 26 Oct 2026, with change against the previous 30 days. They are not deposits from Chile. Casinos Tanzanite does not track are listed after the tracked ones, unranked.
IS CRYPTO GAMBLING LEGAL IN CHILE?
No. On 30 September 2025 the Third Constitutional Chamber of Chile's Supreme Court ruled that all online gambling is illegal unless it has been expressly authorised by law, and Chile has never passed a law authorising online casinos or online sports betting. The ruling removed the argument, long used by offshore operators, that the absence of a specific prohibition created a permissible grey area. It built on a November 2024 court order requiring internet service providers to block illegal betting sites within five days, and the Santiago Court of Appeals has since ordered the telecommunications regulator, Subtel, to detail how that blocking is being carried out.
The prohibition is specific to online play. Chile has a long-established, fully legal land-based casino sector supervised by the Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego (SCJ); there is simply no licensing regime for online casinos in force today. Enforcement has concentrated on the infrastructure of offshore gambling, meaning domains, advertising and payment channels, rather than on prosecuting individual bettors, and that is why the sites in the table above are still widely used from Chile. It does not make playing legal, and the legal risk sits with the player. Getting around an ISP block does not make playing legal, and the operators’ own terms exclude players wherever online gambling is unlawful.
Bill No. 14838-03: what the reform would change
Running in parallel with the courts is a bill to license and tax online betting for the first time. On 7 May 2026 the executive granted Bill No. 14838-03 the highest legislative urgency (máxima urgencia), and it is now in its second constitutional reading in the Senate, a stage that carries a 15-day discussion obligation. As drafted it would:
- Transform the SCJ into a Superintendency of Casinos, Betting and Games of Chance with licensing and sanction powers and remote, real-time access to operators' platforms.
- Impose a 20% tax on operators' gross gaming income, applied alongside VAT, plus a 1% contribution to responsible-gaming programmes and 2% of sports-betting income to sports federations.
- Collect a 15% tax on player winnings at the moment of withdrawal from a licensed platform.
- Create a mandatory self-exclusion register.
None of this is in force. Until enactment, the Supreme Court's ruling is the operative legal reality, and any "20% tax" or "new regulator" you read about is a proposal. If the bill passes, Chile would gain a licensed, taxed and supervised market that is a fundamentally safer environment than today's offshore-only landscape.
Crypto itself: Fintech Law No. 21,521
Cryptocurrency's status is clearer than gambling's because it was settled by statute. Fintech Law No. 21,521, published in January 2023 and effective from February 2023, defines "virtual financial assets or cryptoassets" in Article 3 No. 3 as a digital representation of value, presumes them to be financial instruments, and places them under the Comisión para el Mercado Financiero (CMF) with defined roles for the Central Bank (BCCh) and the tax authority (SII). Chilean exchanges such as Buda, CryptoMarket and Orionx therefore operate inside a recognised framework. Crypto is not legal tender, and the law regulates the asset, not what you do with it: holding USDT is lawful, wagering it at an unlicensed offshore casino is not made lawful by the currency. See our global legality guide for how Chile compares; this page is information, not legal advice.
TAX: NOTHING SETTLED YET, RECORDS ANYWAY
Because online gambling is not authorised, there is no settled tax framework for offshore winnings in Chile. The state cannot cleanly tax an activity it does not license, which leaves players with uncertainty rather than a clear obligation. The direction of travel is visible in the bill's proposed 15% withholding on winnings at withdrawal, but that mechanism only exists once licensed operators do.
The crypto layer applies today regardless. Crypto capital gains may be reportable to the Servicio de Impuestos Internos (SII) depending on the circumstances, and every crypto-to-CLP conversion through a Chilean exchange creates a record within the SII's purview. The sensible posture is a log of every deposit, withdrawal and conversion; our crypto gambling tax calculator and tax guide help with the arithmetic, and a Chilean accountant is the right source for a specific situation.
WHICH OFFSHORE CASINOS CHILEAN PLAYERS USE
Chile is not named in the restricted-territory lists of the eight sites in the table (terms read 22 Oct 2026), and none holds a Chilean licence because none exists. Most of them also exclude any jurisdiction where online gambling is unlawful, which after the 2025 ruling includes Chile. The table is ordered by global deposit volume; the notes below are editorial and look at USDT (TRC-20) handling, Chilean on-ramps and provably fair games. Ranking positions are never sold. What each is best for:

With every option offshore and unlicensed at home, the one protection you can confirm independently is provable fairness. On Stake-style originals (Crash, Dice, Mines, Plinko) each result is derived from a server seed, your client seed and a nonce; after the round you reveal the server seed and check it against the hash the casino committed to before you bet. Run rounds from any site through our provably fair verifier, and walk away if they do not reproduce. Players who value privacy also look at our no-KYC casinos list.
BUDA, CRYPTOMKT, ORIONX AND THE CLP ROUTE
Offshore casinos accept cryptocurrency, not pesos, so the exchange step is required. Chile's regulated exchanges connect directly to local bank accounts, which makes the route straightforward: CLP bank transfer → Buda, CryptoMarket or Orionx → USDT → casino wallet.
- Fund a Chilean exchange in pesos. Buda is one of the most established and settles straight to a CLP bank account; CryptoMarket (CryptoMKT) and Orionx are the other widely used on-ramps. All operate under the Fintech Law and verify identity.
- Buy USDT. It is the most popular coin among Chilean players: dollar-pegged, and on the TRON network it costs about a dollar to send and confirms in one to two minutes. Bitcoin is universally accepted but takes 10 to 60 minutes and swings in price; Ethereum confirms faster but gas can spike; Litecoin and TRX are cheap, fast fallbacks. Avoid USDT on ERC-20 unless the casino supports nothing else.
- Match the network exactly when you paste the casino's deposit address, and send a small test amount to any new address. Sending TRC-20 USDT to an ERC-20 address is the most common way deposits are lost.
- Cash out in reverse. Withdraw USDT, BTC or ETH to a wallet you control (release times vary by site; we do not time them), sell on Buda, CryptoMKT or Orionx, and receive pesos by transfer to Banco de Chile, BancoEstado or Santander, normally within minutes to a few hours.
Fees and timings depend on the coin and network, never on the exchange you bought from. The cheapest stable rail is covered in USDT casinos.
Mejores Casinos Crypto Para Jugadores Chilenos 2026
