BEST MINES
CASINOS 2026
Every Mines board we track, ranked by real deposit volume and compared on the numbers that matter: house edge, payout ceiling, grid options and how the layout is committed before you click.
Ranked by Tanzanite deposit volume, 30 days to 26 October 2026. That is the only ordering rule on this site; commission plays no part. The RTP, max win, grid and fairness cells come from our per-casino Mines guides (linked in each row), and where a guide says the operator publishes nothing, the cell says so rather than inventing a number.

Deposit volume: Tanzanite, 30 days to 26 October 2026 (per our leaderboard); the percentage is the change against Tanzanite’s previous 30 days. Cloudbet is #11 overall. Rollbit recorded $0 in the 30 days to 26 Oct 2026, after $1,037 in the 30 days to 2 Oct and $13.1M in the 30 days before that, which may be a tracking gap or an operational change; it is under review and listed for its game data only. Bitstarz is not tracked by Tanzanite, so it is listed after the tracked casinos.

HOW MINES MATHS ACTUALLY WORKS
Every Mines board in the table is the same object: 25 tiles, a player-chosen number of mines M, and a multiplier that grows with every safe gem k you reveal. The fair multiplier is the inverse of your survival probability, C(25,k) / C(25 - M,k), and the operator shaves it by its house constant. At a 1% edge that gives the formula our mines calculator uses, 0.99 x C(25,k) / C(25 - M,k), whose output matches Stake to the cent. The table below is computed from that formula; a casino with a 1.5% or 3% edge pays proportionally less on the same pick.
| Mines | Gems revealed | Multiplier at 1% edge | Chance of getting there |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | 1.03x | 96.0% survive |
| 3 | 1 | 1.13x | 88.0% survive |
| 3 | 3 | 1.48x | 67.0% survive |
| 5 | 3 | 2.00x | 49.6% survive |
| 10 | 3 | 5.00x | 19.8% survive |
| 24 | 1 | 24.75x | 4.0% survive |
| 12 | 13 | 5,148,297x | 1 in 5,200,300 |
Two things fall out of the formula. First, the house edge does not change with the mine count: 1 mine and 24 mines are priced with the same 0.99, so there is no secretly cheaper configuration, a point our Rollbit and Cloudbet guides make for their 1.5% and 3% constants too. Mine count is a variance dial, nothing more. Second, the headline 5,148,297x that Stake and Shuffle document is 0.99 times C(25,12), the full clear with 12 or 13 mines on the board, and the odds of completing it are about one in 5.2 million. Clearing all 24 gems against a single mine, by contrast, pays 24.75x.
Each click is independent of the last round and of every other player. The layout is fixed when the round starts, so which tile you choose never changes your odds, and no tile is ever “due”. Anything sold as a Mines predictor is reading a board that was committed by a hash before it existed; our predictor scam breakdown covers why they cannot work.
HOW THE LAYOUT IS COMMITTED
At Stake, Shuffle and BC.Game the engine runs HMAC-SHA256 with the server seed as the key over a message built from your client seed, the nonce and a cursor, splits the digest into 4-byte chunks, turns each chunk into a float in [0,1), and uses one float per mine to draw a tile from the pool of remaining positions, a Fisher-Yates pick-and-remove. BC.Game’s documented routine keys the HMAC the other way round and shuffles all 25 positions, taking the first N as mines, so a verifier has to be set to BC.Game mode. Gamdom commits a chain of 10,000,000 SHA-256 hashes in advance and plays it backwards, revealing one hash per game; Roobet documents the committed-SHA-256 model but not every byte-to-index detail. Bitstarz and Cloudbet commit the grid through each studio build’s own panel. Our Mines provably fair verifier reproduces Stake and Shuffle boards exactly, and the verify-a-mines-round walkthrough shows the seed-rotation steps.
THE NINE OPERATORS, ONE PARAGRAPH EACH
1. Stake
The reference implementation: 99% RTP, a published HMAC-SHA256 algorithm, stakes from roughly $0.01 equivalent and the documented 5,148,297x ceiling. Auto-bet carries stop-profit and stop-loss limits. Our guide could not confirm a hard currency cap, so treat the multiplier as the verified ceiling.
2. Roobet
An in-house Original with a $0.01 minimum, demo mode below it and Roowards rakeback on every bet, but no official RTP, house edge or max win on Roobet’s own page. Our guide carries the third-party ~96% estimate as an estimate and tells you to read the in-game info panel.
3. Duel
Mines is one of the Duel Originals advertised at 100% RTP with the math case published on its zero-edge page, and it is excluded from Duel’s 50% rakeback precisely because there is no edge to return. Grid options and the payout cap are not stated in our review, and Duel is not yet in our byte-for-byte verified list.
4. BC.Game
BC.Game’s guidebook lists Mine at 99% RTP with a $1,000,000 per-round cap, stakes from $0.11 to $17,341 and an on-site validator at the game’s fairness panel. Whether 99% holds uniformly across every mine count is unconfirmed, since no per-configuration paytable is published.
5. Shuffle
Byte-for-byte the Stake scheme, including the 5,148,297x multiplier ceiling, but Shuffle prints no RTP on its Mines page and no single min or max bet, because limits depend on currency and account settings. Rakeback, weekly cashback and the SHFL-linked VIP tiers sit on top without altering the per-round math.
6. Gamdom
Priced as a Gamdom Original at “around 99%”, with a $0.01 Originals floor. The 1,000x and $1,000,000 limits come from a third-party review, because Gamdom’s bet-limits page omits Mines. Fairness runs on the SHA256 hash chain, with an in-product Mines verifier linked from Gamdom’s docs.
7. Cloudbet
The 25-tile grid in a sportsbook’s arcade: a 3% edge across every configuration, a $0.50 floor, a 100 BTC per-bet ceiling that no realistic Mines run reaches, and one wallet shared with the betting desk. The layout is committed by a hashed server seed and recomputed after rotation.
8. Rollbit
A uniform 1.5% take on every configuration, rolls from $0.20 and wins capped at $500,000 per bet. Positions derive from a server seed committed before the first click, keyed with your client seed. Status (Oct 2026): Tanzanite recorded $0 for Rollbit in the 30 days to 26 Oct 2026 (2 deposits; -100% on Tanzanite's previous 30 days), after $1,037 in the 30 days to 2 Oct and $13.1M in the 30 days before that, a tracking gap or operational change that we have under review.
9. Bitstarz
Not a house game: Bitstarz aggregates studio-built Mines titles, so the developer sets the RTP (the stocked builds run near 3%), the verify panel and the demo mode. Stakes from €0.20, payouts capped at €100,000 per bet, with a hybrid fiat-plus-crypto cashier. Bitstarz is not tracked by Tanzanite (30 days to 26 Oct 2026), so it sits after the tracked casinos.
CHOOSING A BOARD YOU CAN AFFORD
Because the edge is identical at every mine count, the only decision that matters is how much variance you want to carry. Three mines with a cash-out after a few gems is the balanced default most of our guides suggest; ten or more mines turns each round into a lottery ticket. Decide the reveal count before the round, because mid-round the sunk multiplier always argues for one more tile. Use the auto-bet stop-loss rather than willpower, stake flat units, and remember that Martingale fails faster in Mines than in even-money games because a normal losing streak outruns both your bankroll and the bet limit. Strategy in depth is in the Mines strategy guide; the wider comparison of Crash, Dice, Mines and Plinko pricing is on the casino Originals hub.
