HOW WE REVIEW CRYPTO CASINOS

Every ranking on ProvenlyFair.com is backed by Tanzanite deposit-volume data, documented checks of each casino's licence, cashier terms and provably fair system, and a standardized 7-category scoring system. Here is exactly how we do it — and what we do not do.

OUR PROCESS

Every review follows the same four-step methodology.

01
Volume Data
We pull tracked deposit volume from Tanzanite Analytics for a rolling 30-day window to establish each casino's market position and its change against Tanzanite's previous 30 days.
02
Published Terms
We read each casino's licence record and its cashier terms as written — limits, fees, KYC triggers, processing rules — and check its provably fair scheme against the operator's verifier. We do not fund accounts or time withdrawals.
03
7-Category Scoring
Each casino is scored across 7 standardized categories with weighted averages to produce a final rating out of 10. Four reviews (1WIN, Sportsbet.io, Thrill and Winna) still show a 5-point overall scale while they are converted.
04
Dated Updates
We re-pull Tanzanite data and re-check terms page by page. Every volume figure states its window, and scores and bonus details change only after a real re-check.

Volume Data from Tanzanite Analytics

Unlike most review sites that rely on self-reported casino data or affiliate payouts to determine rankings, ProvenlyFair.com uses Tanzanite Analytics, a third-party analytics provider that publishes tracked deposit volume for 41 crypto casinos. We have not yet documented Tanzanite's measurement method on this page, so we describe its figures as “tracked deposit volume (Tanzanite)” rather than as on-chain totals.

This gives us consistent, dated numbers for:

  • Total deposit volume over a rolling 30-day window (USD equivalent); the current window is the 30 days to 26 Oct 2026
  • Number of individual deposits in that window
  • Average deposit size (volume divided by deposits)
  • Change against Tanzanite's previous 30-day window

Volume data is the foundation of our rankings because it reflects real player behavior — not marketing budgets or affiliate commissions.

Which Tables Are Ordered by Volume

The homepage top 10, the leaderboards and the top 10 on best crypto casinos use Tanzanite's global ranks 1–10 for the stated window, with no exclusions. Stake.us appears at its rank, labelled as a US sweepstakes site rather than a real-money casino. Casinos ranked below 10 can follow in an “Also reviewed” list that shows their global rank. Casinos Tanzanite does not track get no volume, deposit-count or growth figure; they are shown as “Not tracked by Tanzanite”.

Every other list on the site (best for slots, fastest withdrawals, no-KYC and similar) is an editorial “best for X” shortlist. Each of those pages states its criteria, and none of them claims to be a volume ranking unless it follows the Tanzanite order exactly.

What We Check: Licence, Cashier Terms, Provably Fair, Bonuses

Every casino review on ProvenlyFair.com is a documented desk review of the operator's published record. For each casino we:

  • Check the licence and the corporate entity behind it against the regulator's public register (Curaçao GCB, Anjouan, Kahnawake, MGA or UKGC as applicable), and note the entity name and licence number in the review
  • Read the cashier terms as written in the operator's terms of service and help centre: withdrawal limits and minimums, fees, KYC triggers, wagering-before-withdrawal rules, and whether payouts are described as automatic or subject to review
  • Check the provably fair implementation against the operator's published verifier and our own verifier tools: the committed server-seed hash must match the revealed seed, and the outcome must reproduce from server seed, client seed and nonce
  • Price every bonus with our bonus calculator and wagering calculator, so a headline match is scored on what it is worth after wagering, game weighting and max-bet rules
  • Pull 30-day deposit-volume data from Tanzanite Analytics to place the casino in the market, and compare it with Tanzanite's previous 30-day window
  • Record the support channels and policies the operator publishes: live chat availability and hours, email, help-centre depth, and any stated response commitments

What We Do Not Do

We do not open funded accounts, deposit our own crypto, or time withdrawals at the casinos we review. Where a page states a withdrawal or payout time, it is the operator's own published figure or a typical network confirmation time, and it is attributed as such. Timings reported by readers are treated as anecdotes, not measurements, and are never presented as our own test results. If a claim cannot be traced to the operator's terms, a regulator's register, Tanzanite data or our calculators, it does not appear as fact on this site.

Update Frequency

We aim to re-pull Tanzanite data about once a month, but pages are not all re-checked on the same day. Each page states the data window it uses (currently the 30 days to 26 Oct 2026) and when it was last checked. Bonus details, wagering requirements, and game counts are re-checked against the operator's published terms when we re-check a page or when a casino announces changes. We only change a review's "last updated" date when the content has materially changed — we do not re-stamp pages to look fresh.

Who Writes These Reviews

ProvenlyFair.com is maintained by a small editorial team of crypto-gambling analysts and reviewers. Every review carries a named author, and you can see the people behind our coverage — their backgrounds, areas of focus, and the casinos they cover — on our authors page. Volume analysis, provably-fair verification, and cashier-terms review are carried out by team members who have followed the crypto-casino market for years.

AI Assistance and Human Oversight

We use AI tools to help draft and structure some of our written content, as many publishers now do. What AI does not do here is decide rankings, invent data, or replace the checks above. Every figure on this site — deposit volumes, scores, withdrawal policies, bonus terms — originates from Tanzanite Analytics, the operator's own published terms, or our calculators, and is checked by a human before publication.

In short: automation helps us write faster; it never determines which casino ranks where. Where a page relies on data we could not independently verify, we say so rather than presenting it as tested fact.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No. Rankings are determined by Tanzanite volume data and our 7-category scoring system. We earn affiliate commissions when users click our links and register, but this has zero impact on scores or rankings. A casino paying us more in commissions will never receive a higher score. Our affiliate disclosure explains this in full detail.
We check each casino's published provably fair scheme rather than placing bets. The operator commits a server-seed hash before play and reveals the seed on rotation; we run published seed pairs through the operator's own verifier and our verifier tools to confirm the SHA-256 hash of the revealed seed matches the committed hash, and that the outcome reproduces from the combined client seed, server seed, and nonce. We document the scheme and verifier for each casino's original games.
When a casino's performance changes significantly — positive or negative — we update the review and adjust the score accordingly. We note the change date and reason in the review. If a casino suffers a security breach, implements unfavorable policy changes, or loses its license, we will flag this prominently and may reduce the score immediately rather than waiting for the next scheduled re-check.
Yes. If a crypto casino is not yet on ProvenlyFair.com and you believe it deserves coverage, contact us. We prioritize casinos that appear in Tanzanite data with meaningful volume, as this indicates genuine player activity. We also review some casinos that Tanzanite does not track, and some whose tracked volume has fallen close to zero (Rollbit and Bluff in the 30 days to 26 Oct 2026). Those reviews say so plainly: untracked casinos get no volume figure, and a near-zero reading gets a dated status note.
Each of the 7 categories is scored from 0 to 10, then multiplied by its weight. The sum of weighted scores produces the final rating. For example: Game Variety (9.0 x 0.20) + Provably Fair (10.0 x 0.15) + Withdrawal Policy (9.0 x 0.15) + Bonus Value (8.0 x 0.15) + UX (9.0 x 0.15) + Security (9.0 x 0.10) + Support (8.0 x 0.10) = 8.95/10. Scores are rounded to one decimal place.
We use AI tools to help draft and structure some written content, but all rankings, scores, and data come from Tanzanite Analytics, the operators' published terms, and our own calculators — and every page is reviewed by a human before it goes live. AI never decides which casino ranks where, and we never present unverified figures as tested fact.
